Reporting matters to the Police. If Urgent call 999
If not urgent call 08452 777 444
If reporting a crime, remember to ask for a Crime Number, this is important as you can then follow up who is dealing etc by quoting the number, your insurance company may need the details.
If reporting a non crime, again ask for a log reference number, this is usually a combination of date of call and a multi digit number, make a note of date and time you report matters and person taking your call, you may need this later.
REMEMBER TO ASK FOR THE LOG or CRIME NUMBER
